        ARTICLE:

The Ladies of 798 is known for being a warm and friendly non-profit organization and recently, my Mother saw this spirit of generosity
       firsthand.

After losing her home and most of her belongings, she was feeling very depressed.  Janie Wallace of Bald Knob, Ark. and her Mother,
       Mrs.Birchfield showed up with smiles,
hugs and a survivors care basket! Janie and her Mother brought a hot meal for all of us that were
       working to
salvage anything we could. After Janie and Mrs. Birchfield left, Mom kept saying "I can't believe they drove over here and
brought me this." She was so impressed that she
said, "Now I know why you were a member of that group." (I had told Mom that Janie
was a member of Ladies of 798 too)

A special "THANK YOU" to Janie Wallace and her Mother, Mrs. Birchfield and to the LADIES OF 798 and all its supporters.

       Mrs. Don Lindsey!
(Widow of former 798 helper, Don Lindsey)

When someone ask you for a donation to a nonprofit, consider donating!  You never know when you or your family will be in need. Over
the years, I have donated to the
American Red Cross and have done mailouts for them. I never thought any of my family would be a
recipient of their help. Today, the RED CROSS came to visit and help my
Mother, who has recently suffered the loss of her home in a flood.
        They
were warm and friendly and truly a supportive group! Thank you RED CROSS and workers from Michigan, Hawaii and Wisconsin!
